Wellste received an inquiry from a French client, he requested pricing for two types of extruded heat sinks as shown in the attached image.

According to the customer’s drawings, these two types aluminum heat sink are standard products in the European, but not available in China.

Therefore, a new mold needs to be opened. The client’s quantity is small, and they are more want to buy standard heat sink.

The customer finds our heat sink aluminum extrusion prices is very competitive and has promised to place an order in December.

They still have some inventory that they haven’t used up yet, which is why they are waiting until then.

Custom Heat Sink Technical discussions

After receiving the order, we encountered an issue during the production drawing phase.

The custom heat sink consists of three separate parts, and the client’s drawing mentions “without mounting.”

However, if we don’t assemble heatsink profile together, how should we handle the transportation?

The customer replied that we needed assembly and sent us a picture of their existing product for reference.

When it comes to install extruded heat sink, another question arises: how do these three components custom heat sink connect tightly together?

We recommend using a lamination process and have showcased our lamination machine to the client.

The customer was unsure about the manufacturing process, has decided to send us a set of existing extruded heat sink samples for our reference.

This will allow us to better understand the required specifications, and ensure that the custom heat sink meets their needs.

We have completed the heat sink aluminum extrusion and machining processes, now waiting for the anodizing.
