Today, we received an inquiry from a customer. The customer is doing laboratory automation business and is very interested in our T slot aluminum extrusion.

After viewing our catalog, the customer choose a 4040 aluminum extrusion stock mold, and then gave us some aluminium extrusion frame drawings as follows：

Due to the wide variety of T slot accessories, and also some differences between Chinese, US, and European standards, we have found inconsistencies between the aluminium profile accessories and the customer’s aluminum extrusion design drawings.

As a solution, we informed the customer that we can send them aluminum extrusion accessories sample for reference, and they agreed.

Additionally, the customer requires a powder coating similar to the color shown in the image below. We recommended RAL 9010 and sent a color card.

After receiving the color card and the aluminum extrusion profiles sample we sent, the customer placed a sample purchase order (PO) and confirmed some details with us, such as the color of the aluminum profile connectors.

The customer specifically emphasized that the T Slot aluminum profile cleaning, pre-treatment, and powder coating should be done according to AAMA 2603 SPEC, covering all threaded holes. The 4040 aluminum extrusion drawing is shown below:

During the T Slot aluminum profile sampling process, the customer asked if we do the powder coating in our own factory.

We both have powder coating lines and anodizing lines, but for products with specific RAL color requirements and when the quantity is not large, we will send the powder coating process to our partner.

For this products, our factory production process involves cutting the stock T Slot aluminum profile, sending them out for powder coating, and finally reassembling them.

If some customer require CNC process, we also provide custom aluminum fabrication.

Two weeks later, we completed the samples and sent photos to the customer for confirmation.

Based on the provided information and search results, the customer has requested some modifications after reviewing the auminum extrusion system photos. The customer’s concerns are as follows:

• The T slot aluminum extrusion handle needs to be replaced with a white or clear anodizing color.
• The T slot accessories end caps should be gray.
• The surface of aluminum profile connectors and aluminium profile bracket should be the same, either gray or white, preferably gray for both.

Received these requests, we will solve these issues and make the necessary adjustments to meet the customer’s requirements.

Although we had already packed the wooden crate, we are committed to providing the highest quality service to our customers.

Therefore, we dismantled and reassembled the crate, replaced the aluminum extrusion accessories as requested, and proceeded with the shipment.
