Wellste received an inquiry, the client needs extruded aluminum tube 6063-T5, OD 5/8”. Wall .050” Anodized Silver color.

This is a very simple anodized aluminum tubing, the client needs 700ft, the quantity is not large, but Wellste can support the low order volume for initial to support the customer’s business.

Considering the length limit of express delivery, we suggest cutting for the client and confirmed that the final length used by the client is 8.5 inches.

Wellste has a large mold center and stores more than 10,000 existing molds, so we selected a similar aluminum round tube size for the client as OD 15.87mm, WT 1.4mm, and the client is very happy to save mold cost and placed an order immediately.

Anodized Aluminum Tubing Technical negotiations

When arranging the anodized aluminum extrusion production schedule, we have a problem in confirming the surface treatment.

Since the client only stated that he wanted clear anodizing, he could not confirm the aesthetic requirements of the anodized aluminum extruded tubing.

So we browsed the client’s official website and found his products as follows:

In the picture, you can see that round aluminum extrusion is used in two places, one is the trumpet, and the other is the chair leg for the trumpet.

Based on our industry experience, The chair legs appear to be sandblasted and anodized.

The client replied that the chair legs will be made of extruded aluminum pipe provided by us.

But he wasn’t sure if there was more manufacturing process to the finish, he just knew he needed a durable, beautiful, flawless satin finish for the brushed aluminum tube.

According to our experience, we recommend this sandblasted finish anodized aluminum extrusions on the right in the picture to our clients, which is very beautiful and elegant for furniture application.

After 12 days, we delivered the products, and the finished product is as pictured below.
