Design phase communication

This USA customer inquired about our telescoping pole project in July 2020, but unfortunately, we couldn’t cooperate at that time due to don’t have suitable sizes.

Eventually, in November 2022, the customer submitted another RFQ to our company, this time for T Slot aluminum extrusion.

T Slot aluminum profile are standard aluminum extrusions offered by Wellste, we have many standard extrusion mold in hand and could save mold cost at customer side.

Preliminary quotation

We were able to provide a prompt price quotation to the customer.

The customer was satisfied with our pricing, but they found that the shape didn’t match their final application.

Consequently, the customer began working on a redesign.

A few days passed, the customer provided hand-drawn aluminum channel extrusions sketches based on the Tslot profile.

Technical negotiations

Our technical staff generated a formal aluminum channel profile CAD drawing based on the customer’s product requirements.

We sent it back to the customer for further evaluation to determine if any dimensions need modifications.

During this stage, our sales team actively communicated with the customer, and the aluminum extrusion design went through four revise.

Before confirm the aluminum extrusion profiles order, we sent the customer the final cross-sectional confirmation drawings.

Furthermore, since aluminum profiles are subject to anti-dumping duty regulations in USA, we recommended a professional US freight forwarder to the customer.

Sample Production

Eventually, the customer quickly sent the payment for the extruded aluminum T channel sample mold.

The order was negotiated very quickly, which can be attributed to our fast service response and the professionalism of our technical team.

Within 10 days of receiving the payment, we finish the extruded aluminum track

mold production, and were ready for extrusion testing.

The customer need powder coating aluminum extrusion profiles: white spray coating and silver anodized coating.
