Today, we received an inquiry from Israel, the customer wants to buy 150pcs aluminum heat sinks as shown below:
The customer confirms that the extruded heat sink information:

- overall height 40mm
- base thickness 9-10mm
- surface treatment – black anodized
- threaded hole – made according to the processing drawing sent by the customer.
The customer also wanted us to calculate the extruded heat sink thermal resistance (degC/W).
According to the customer’s drawing, we recommend our standard heat sink to save client’s cost:
The customer replied that the standard model needs to mill off 1mm on both sides to make the width 250mm, and also needs the heatsink profile thermal resistance data with a length of 150mm.

The customer also wants to know the thermal resistance when there is no forced airflow, but our software calculation must input airflow>0, otherwise there is no calculation result.
